Fruit Smoothie 2 (with milk)

A delicious homemade fruit-flavored shake for breakfast, snack or on-the-go!

Ingredients

3 cups 1% or nonfat milk
3 cups sliced fruit, any type (fresh, frozen, or canned and drained)

Directions

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Rinse or scrub fresh fruits under running water before preparing.
  3. Combine milk and fruit in a blender and put lid on tightly.
  4. Blend until smooth. Serve right away.
  5. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.

Comments

So easy!  We used wild blackberries we picked this past summer.  Having them frozen for sure added thickness to the smoothie.  The berries even frozen were not really sweet, so we did end up adding the smallest tad of sweetner.  Then my 2 year old loved it!
