When we made this at a Volunteer training for the Food Bank Demo's; we used frozen peas and just rinsed it under water 1st in a colander. They loved it! We served it with the FH Ranch Dressing,
https://www.foodhero.org/recipes/ranch-dressing
We substituted sour cream for the mayo in the dressing and added more of the spice to add more flavor.
