Makes: 4 cups

Ingredients

1 cup sliced banana
1 cup unsweetened frozen berries
1 cup 1% or nonfat milk
1 cup orange juice

Directions

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Rinse or scrub fresh fruits under running water before preparing.
  3. Place all ingredients in a blender. Put the lid on tightly.
  4. Blend until smooth. If too thick, add ½ cup cold water and blend again.
  5. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.

Notes

  • Try using strawberries, blueberries or blackberries, or a mixture of any type.

Comments

This Banana Berry Smoothie is a great recipe for our Early Learning Center. The kids loved it and the mixing of different Berries you can use if you do not like certain kind or a child is allergic. Easy and Delicious! We will use this one again. 

I was wondering when I translate this recipe to spanish it does not include the bananas or the milk.

This recipe is so delicious! Perfect recipe for kids to help press buttons on the blender.

Served this recipe to 600 high school youth at St Helens High School and they loved it!  Many students suggested "swapping" another berry for blueberries.  Great easy recipe!
