I just now tried a second batch of the Baked Apple Chips, but on both occasions I had a lot of trouble with the apples sticking to the baking sheet. The first time, I used parchment paper to line the tray and the apples stuck terribly, so the second time I tried baking without parchment paper. The result was the same--terrible sticking to the baking sheet. Also, for the apples that could be salvaged from the tray, it took a total of 4 hours for them to dry enough to be called Chips. Any ideas for remedy would be greatly appreciated.
Great recipe, fast and easy! Delicious too!
My small kiddos really loved these! Including cooking them! We cooked for about an hour and they were still soft but the kids couldn't wait any longer they wanted them so bad and then they ate them all up before I could put them back in the oven.
