Simple Sautéed Mushrooms
Ingredients
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 ½ cups chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups sliced mushrooms
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Wash hands with soap and water.
- Rinse fresh vegetables under running water before preparing.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook until it begins to soften, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook another minute.
- Add mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook and stir occasionally until the liquid evaporates and mushrooms begin to brown.
- Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
