Welcome to a brand-new year filled with delicious possibilities! As we step into January, why not try some new and easy recipes? Food Hero is here to help you make 2024 a year of tasty and healthy meals!

Find a New Recipe Using the Recipe Search Tool

Ever found yourself with a leftover ingredient and no idea what to do with it?  On the Food Hero website, you can find recipes based on what you already have in your kitchen. Got some leftover spinach? Just type in “spinach” and discover simple recipes like Spinach with Garbanzo Beans or Tofu Scramble. This is a fun way to experiment with different flavors and minimize food waste. The 5 Ingredients or Less and 30 Minutes or Less categories are also worth checking out if you’re looking for tasty recipes that may save you time and money!

Try Our Cultural Recipes

On the Food Hero website, you can also search by cultural recipes. These recipes have been developed or reviewed by an Oregon State University cultural workgroup. Warm up on a cold winter night with a bowl of Chicken and Greens Soup developed by the African Heritage Workgroup or Wild Rice with Salmon Stew developed by the Indigenous Peoples Workgroup or try the Festive Tortillas developed by the Latin Heritage Workgroup for your next meal.

Keep Up with Our Latest Creations

We're always cooking up something new at Food Hero! Check our homepage often for the latest recipes, like our refreshing Kiwi Popsicles. They’ll bring a burst of tropical flavor to a winter day.  Or if you’re in the mood for something savory, check out our homemade Peanut Sauce. It’s a perfect companion for dipping, drizzling or adding flavor to your favorite dishes. To stay up on the latest recipes, bookmark our homepage!

Happy cooking, and here's to a new year filled with new recipes for delicious and healthy food!
