1 tablespoon margarine or butter
3 tablespoons maple syrup
½ teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3 cups turnips, peeled and diced
2 cups sweet potatoes, cubed

3 cucharadas de miel de maple
½ cucharadita de canela
2 cucharaditas de jugo de limón
3 tazas de nabos, pelados y en cubitos
2 tazas de camote, en cubitos


  1. Melt margarine and add syrup, cinnamon and lemon juice.
  2. Mix turnips and sweet potatoes in a medium casserole dish. Add syrup mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  3. Cover and bake at 400 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes. Uncover and bake until browned (20 to 30 minutes). Serve hot.
  4. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.


  1. Derrita la margarina y añada la miel de maple, la canela y el jugo de limón.
  2. Mezcle los nabos y el camote en una cacerola mediana. Añada la mezcla de la miel de maple y revuelva para queden cubiertos uniformemente.
  3. Cubra y hornee a 400 grados F por 15 a 20 minutos. Destape y hornee hasta que queden dorados (20 a 30 minutos). Sirva caliente.
  4. Refrigere lo que sobre dentro de las siguientes 2 horas.
