Ingredients

2 cups winter squash cubes
2 cups apple cubes
1 tablespoon oil
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt

2 tazas de manzana cortada en cubitos
1 cucharada de aceite
½ cucharadita de canela molida
1 cucharada de azúcar
½ cucharadita de sal

Directions

  1. Peel the squash, remove the seeds and cut into bite size pieces.
  2. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into bite size pieces.
  3. Combine the squash and apple pieces, oil, cinnamon, sugar and salt together in a bowl. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Spread the mixture on a metal baking pan.
  5. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until squash is soft.
  6. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.

Preparación

  1. Pele la calabaza, quítele las semillas y córtela en trozos del tamaño de un bocado.
  2. Pele las manzanas, quítele el corazón y córtela en trozos del tamaño de un bocado.
  3. Mezcle los trozos de calabaza y de manzana con aceite, canela, azúcar y sal en un recipiente. Mezcle para cubrir bien todo.
  4. Distribuya la mezcla sobre una bandeja de metal para hornear.
  5. Hornee a 425 grados de 20 a 30 minutos o hasta que la calabaza esté tierna.
  6. Refrigere lo que sobre dentro de las siguientes 2 horas.
