Food Heroes Fighting Hunger and Food Insecurity
On the Oregon State University Day of Giving, everyone can help fight hunger among low-income Oregonians.
By supporting Food Hero, you’ll expand the campaign’s capacity to create nutrition-related tools and experiences for Oregon families in every county. These include food tastings, cooking skill demos, the award-winning Food Hero Monthly, a website, and cookbooks offering tasty, low-cost, healthy Food Hero recipes. For instance, to help increase Oregon families’ consumption of healthy, home-cooked meals, Food Hero has designed a free recipe book with popular campaign recipes and file folders at the back to store more favorite recipes. Your gift to Food Hero will increase the number of cookbooks we print.
Donors of $20 or more, with a US address, will receive a free printed cookbook! Outside the US? We will email an electronic version.
