Postre Crujiente de Manzana y Calabaza Tipo Butternut

Ingredients

1 calabaza tipo “butternut” pequeña (aproximadamente 1 libra)
3 manzanas ácidas medianas, peladas y cortadas en tajadas
¼ cup de almíbar de maíz
2 tablespoons de jugo de limón
¾ cup de azúcar morena compactada
1 tablespoon de maicena
1 teaspoon de canela molida
½ teaspoon de sal
CUBIERTA DE AVENA INGREDIENTES:
½ cup harina
¼ cup de azúcar morena (compactada)
½ cup avena en hojuelas
6 tablespoons de mantequilla fría

Directions

  1. Caliente el horno a 375° grados.
  2. Pele la calabaza y córtela por la mitad a lo largo; bote las semillas. Corte la calabaza en tajadas finas.
  3. En un recipiente hondo y grande, revuelva ligeramente la calabaza, las manzanas, el almíbar y el jugo de limón. Combine el azúcar, la maicena, la canela y la sal; agregue a la mezcla de calabaza y revuela.
  4. Transfiera a un recipiente engrasada para hornear de 13 x 9 x 2 pulgadas. Cubra y hornee a 375 grades por 20 minutos.
  5. En un recipiente hondo y pequeño, combine la harina, la avena y el azúcar, agregue la mantequilla separándola con dos cuchillos hasta que la mezcla se vea como migas de pan no muy finas. Esparza sobre la mezcla de calabaza.
  6. Hornee 25 minutes más o hasta que la calabaza y las manzanas estén blandas y la cubierta está ligeramente dorada. Sirva caliente.
