Ingredients

3 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
3 teaspoons sugar, granulated or brown
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 teaspoon hot sauce
¾ pound lean ground turkey (15% fat or less)
2 stalks celery, sliced
2 medium carrots, shredded
1 tablespoon minced ginger root or 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, minced
1 can (8 ounces) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
2 cups cooked brown rice
8 large lettuceleaves

3 cucharaditas de azucar, granulada o morena
2 cucharaditas de aceite de ajonjolí
1 cucharadita de salsa pilatate
2 tallos de apio, en rebanadas
¾ libra de pavo molido (15% de grasa o menos)
2 zanahorias medianas, ralladas
1 cucharada de raíz de jengibre finamente picado o ¾ de cucharadita de jengibre molido
¼ cucharadita de ajo en polvo o 1 diente de ajo, finamente picado
1 lata (8 onzas) castañas de agua (water chestnuts), escurridas y picadas
2 tazas de arroz integral cocido
8 hojas grande de lechuga

Directions

1. In a small bowl, blend the soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil and hot sauce.

2. In a large skillet, sauté turkey, celery and carrot until the turkey begins to brown, 10minutes. Break turkey into crumbles as itcooks.

3. Add ginger and garlic. Cook 2 minutes.

4. Stir in soy sauce mixture and water chestnuts. Cook 2 minutes longer.

5. Stir in cooked rice. Heat through.

6. Serve in lettuce leaves.

7. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.

Preparación

1. En un tazón pequeño, mezcle la salsa de soya,el azúcar, el aceite de ajonjolí y la salsa picante.

2. En una sartén grande, saltee el pavo, el apio y las zanahorias hasta que el pavo empiece a dorarse, 10 minutos. Desmenuce el pavo en trozos mientras se cocina.

3. Añada el jengibre y el ajo. Cocine por 2 minutos.

4. Incorpore la mezcla de la salsa de soya y las castañas de agua (water chestnuts). Cocine 2minutos adicionales.

5. Incorpore el arroz integral cocido. Cocine completamente.

6. Sirva en hojas de lechuga.

7. Refrigere lo que sobre dentro de las siguientes 2 horas.
